How to renew a domain

If a domain payment fails, the domain may move to the free plan, but automatic charge attempts can continue. Follow these steps to renew the domain or turn off auto-renewal.

1. Check your payment method

Make sure the card has enough funds and isn't blocked for online payments.

2. Turn on auto-renewal

Find the domain in the list of purchased domains and turn on auto-renewal.

3. Check the status

After the page refreshes, make sure the domain shows an active auto-renewal status.

If the domain is already on the Free plan

Open the plan card and click “End subscription”. This stops further automatic charge attempts.
