Glossary
Simple explanations of technical words that may be unclear at the start.
Domain
Your site's internet address (for example, site.com). A landing page can be saved and connected to your own domain via hosting.
Hosting
Online storage where your site lives. After downloading a landing page, you upload the files to your hosting, and the site goes online.
Landing page block
A separate structural element on the page: a headline, a button, a form, reviews, etc. A site consists of a set of such blocks.
Order statuses
- Lead — a new order that hasn't been processed yet.
- Approval — a confirmed order (the customer agreed to buy).
- Buyout — an actual purchase (the product is received and paid for).
Conversion
The ratio between the number of visitors and the number of actions (for example, submitted forms). Measured in percent: if 100 people visited the site and 5 left an order, the conversion is 5%.
Codec
A video or image compression format. It's important to use supported codecs (for example, .mp4 with H.264) so that videos and images display correctly on the site.
Template
A ready-made landing page with filled-in blocks. You can change the text, photos and colors and get your own site in a few minutes.
No-code
An approach to building sites without coding. EasyWeb is exactly such a platform: you just add blocks, change the texts — and everything works.
Checkout / Thank-you page
The last screen after an order is placed. It shows that the order has been accepted. In EasyWeb it's set up automatically and depends on the landing page language.
