How to add a Google Ads conversion?

Setting up Google events — in just 5 minutes.

Google Ads has no pixel like Facebook — instead it uses a system of tags and events that record the actions you need (for example, a submitted order or a purchase).

What you need to track conversions

    • Conversion ID — your account's identifier (for example, AW-123456789).

    • Conversion Label — a unique label that tells which event to record. In EasyWeb it's called the “event code” (for example, AbCdEfGhIjKlmNoP).

How to get the Conversion ID and Label?

    • Open your Google Ads account.

    • At the top, click “Tools and settings” (🔧) → “Conversions”.

    • Click “+ New conversion” or choose one you've already created.

    • Set the conversion type (for example, “Purchase”).

    • Choose how to install the tag: “Install the tag yourself”.

    • The window shows the Conversion ID (for example, AW-123456789) and the Conversion Label (for example, AbCdEfGhIjKlmNoP) on one line, separated by “/”.

How to set the Conversion ID and Label in EasyWeb?

    • Sign in to your EasyWeb account.

    • Open the settings of the landing page you need.

    • Open “Integrations → Google”.

    • Paste the Conversion ID into the first field, “Enter the identifier”.

    • Paste the Conversion Label into the “Enter the event code” field.

    • Tick the checkbox next to the integration.

    • Click “Save”.

    • Download the updated landing page archive and install it on your hosting.

How to check the setup is correct?

    • After installing the site, open “Google Ads → Tools → Conversions” again.

    • Choose your event → “Data source” → “Check tag”.

    • Leave a test order on your site — if the tag works, Google records the event in real time.

    Important

    • One Conversion ID can be used for several events, but the Label must be unique for each of them.
    • By default EasyWeb doesn't change the event — whatever you set in the Label is what Google Ads records.
    • All events are processed only after the site is installed on hosting. Tags don't fire in preview mode.
