How to set up the privacy policy and user agreement

Use the standard documents or add your own.

What are they and why do you need them?

The privacy policy and the user agreement are legal documents found on most modern sites. They're usually placed in the page footer, and although we often ignore them, they matter for business:

    • For visitors' trust.

    • To meet basic legal requirements.

    • So that platforms like Meta / Google don't restrict your ads.

How to create or edit the policy and agreement?

    1. Go to “Landing pages → Site configurations”.

    2. Choose “Create new” or click “Edit” on an existing one.

    What can be set up?

    Locale

    • At the top, choose the languages you want to use (UA / RU / EN).
    • Only the enabled languages will be available when creating a landing page.
    • If the landing page is in Ukrainian and the policy is only in Russian, you won't be able to choose it.

    Name

The configuration's internal name (for yourself): for example, UA / ecom.

    Content

    • Fill in the content of the “Privacy policy” and the “User agreement”.
    • Basic formatting is supported: bold, italic, lists, headings…

    After saving

The configurations become available in the list when creating a new landing page.

Important: if you've already downloaded the landing page archive, policy changes won't update automatically. You need to download the archive again and reinstall the site.
